Rick Jeffery - PGA Apprentice / Teaching Professional
As a ten year veteran of the North Bay golf industry, Rick spent time as an Assistant Golf Professional at San Geronimo Golf Course from late 1999 to early 2004, then moved to StoneTree Golf Club in Novato from late 2004 to mid 2008. Since November 2008 he has been one of the PGA Apprentices / Teaching Professionals at McInnis Park Golf Academy.
Rick brings his passion for the game of golf to his teaching style, and believes that a good instructor should work together with his/her students to identify the unique keys, which allow them to learn most effectively. "I’m not a big believer in the "one style fits all" golf instruction philosophy, and feel that my job is to adapt to each students style of learning, and find a way to get my message across in a way that works best for them.
To help achieve these goals, I utilize the V1 Pro 2009 Video Swing Analysis software, coupled with the Casio EX-F1 super-high speed HD video camera which records at an astonishing 300 frames per second (fps). Normal video cameras record @ only 60 frames per second. This highly detailed video footage, when viewed using the V1 Pro 2009 swing analysis software, allows my students a greatly enhanced ability to visualize and learn the correct key positions required to improve their ball-striking and ultimately lower their scores.
Whether you're a junior looking to play high school or college golf, a weekends only golfer looking to lower his/her handicap, or a beginning golfer hoping not to embarrass themselves in front of friends and/or business clients, I'll help you improve your game, and also have fun in the process.
